Coach Sara is a life-long soccer player from a family of players and coaches and has a solid and growing resume coaching co-ed and girls youth soccer, and Pride Girls Soccer is honored to name her the 2018 Head Coach for Pride Girls Soccer's, Songdo team. Coach Sara holds an F-4 Visa and also teaches English and Danish and Pride parents are free to contact her for private language tutoring.
Pride F.C. places 2nd in the Songdo 7s
Chadwick International School hosted "The Songdo 7's" International Soccer Tournament again this Fall and in only a year and a half into our existence, Pride Girls Soccer took 2nd place in our age group! Our age group was comprised of 6 teams from Chadwick and around Korea and our only two losses were against the Chadwick A team, who we lost to once in the regular bracket play and once in the Championship game. Both games were 0-1. Our girls played their hearts out and each girl and coach was awarded a silver medal and the team was awarded a team trophy. This tournament was our best showing yet and shows a lot of growth in the program. Great job girls!
Pride Co-founder, Donovan Loomis honored
at the 2017 Fall
End of Season Awards Ceremony, as ownership of Pride transitions to Coach John
Pride Girls Soccer was founded in 2016 by John Starling and Donovan Loomis. At the conclusion of the 2017 Fall/Winter season, Coach John assumed full ownership of Pride Girls Soccer.
The entire Pride family is ever-grateful to Donovan for his hard work in co-founding Pride Girls Soccer. He helped set our foundation and has made a lasting difference in the lives of our girls. The positive changes he's helped sew the seeds for in Korean culture (and for girls around the world) will outlive us all through the girls he helped give the opportunity to play "the beautiful game".
At the 2017 Fall/Winter Season Awards Dinner, Donovan was presented with a plaque in recognition of his efforts and the spirit and integrity with which he approaches his work on this planet.
